MATTHAN WHEELER DC, BCN

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Matthan Wheeler is a successful chiropractic physician that focuses on treating the root cause of the problem, as opposed to just putting a band-aid on the condition. He practices the Palmer Package techniques, along with being trained and certified in Activator Methods, Thompson, Cox Flexion-Distraction, and spinal decompression.

He utilizes these varied techniques in order to deliver individualized care to each patient based on their needs. He believes in treating the whole patient, not just the symptoms- offering nutritional support, functional medicine, and advanced in-clinic therapies. He is passionate about helping his patients restore their quality of life and get back to doing the things they love! Dr. Wheeler proudly serves the Inland Northwest with his practice based in the beautiful community of Post Falls, Idaho.

Dr. Wheeler received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Academic Excellence Award. He has also received advanced training in nutrition and weight loss, allowing him to better serve his patients and guide them to better health.

Dr. Wheeler has a personal connection with chiropractic. He had worked for several years in a physically demanding job when he decided to visit a chiropractor for the first time. After discovering the philosophy behind chiropractic and personally experiencing improved results, he felt a desire to deliver the positive effects of chiropractic to his community. Dr. Wheeler’s mission is to help others regain health and stay well.

In his free time, Dr. Wheeler enjoys being outdoors with his wife Jessica and 4 growing children. They also love traveling and serving in their church.

SEHOYA HAHN

CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT

Sehoya was born in South Korea and grew up in a military family, so moving around and adjusting to new places is normal for her. Thanks to being a military BRAT, she has been able to travel and see a lot of Italy, as well as surrounding countries. Even though Sehoya has moved around a lot in the past, she considers the Pacific Northwest her home. Sehoya really loves horseback riding, boating, and camping, and any time that she can be with her family.

Although Sehoya is new to natural health and chiropractic care, she has learned and benefited so much since she started working at the clinic. Sehoya has seen so much improvement in her health and is a lot more energetic now! She enjoys the patient interaction and loves helping individuals reach their personal health goals.

CAITLIN MCCLAIN

Caitlin is a dedicated support person for Dr. Wheeler’s neuropathy clinic. Caitlin is passionate about helping people and has found her calling as a rehab technician. Since graduating with an associate degree in physical education, Caitlin has spent the last two years as a home health aide.

These experiences have provided Caitlin with the skillset in managing the tasks of the clinic and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. She takes pride in her attention to detail, which is evident in her meticulous care of the patients. As a former college athlete, she understands the need to heal our bodies the natural way. NATASHA STEVENS

OFFICE MANAGER

Natasha was raised in the CDA area. She got her bachelors in Biochemistry from Southern Virginia University which started her passion for science and holistic evidence-based care. She also lived in South Korea for 18 months teaching English.

She plays with her nieces and nephews in her free time, bakes, and volunteers at her church. She loves watching our patients come in and change for the better.

Studying in the science field in college introduced Natasha to a whole new world. The more she studied the evidence on best practices she realized that so many places do not actually do what is best for their patients. She has loved coming to work with Dr. Wheeler and seeing how much everyone in the office really cares for the patients and looks for the newest and best practices to help our patients improve the best they can.

STEVE WOOD

CASE MANAGER

While Steve grew up in Michigan, he has made the Pacific Northwest his home over the last three years. He pursued a major in Mathematics and Secondary Education, and was a high school math teacher for 16 years, with the last 6 years being spent overseas in 5 different countries.

Living abroad allowed Steve and his 3 kids to experience lots of new cultural and unique travel experiences. Steve decided to leave international teaching and pursue a career change in surgical sales that landed his family in Spokane over 3 years ago. With the pandemic that soon followed and lots of moving parts in the surgical space, Steve found a new home as a case manager at North Idaho Neuropathy working hand-in-hand with Dr. Wheeler.

This change reignited his passion for helping others improve their quality of life and has become a more rewarding experience for Steve. When not working, Steve enjoys spending time being active with his 3 growing kids and watching them in their sports and activities. They enjoy taking advantage of the many outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer from biking, hiking, kayaking, and boating.
